Spring Pack Campout
This Spring the Pack will be going to Frank G Lumpkin scout camp year LaGrange GA. Activities TBD, but mark your calendar for April 19-21, 2024!
1) Flat ground space is extremely limited. The pack is prepared to pay for platforms with canvas camp tents for everyone. Each tent has two cots in it and is not really suitable for 3 people+stuff. Each canvas tent with cots costs the Pack $20 for the weekend, so please be respectful of pack funds. We only want to pay for the canvas tents we use. If you want to bring your own tent, please contact me. Please do not show up with a 12 person tent as there may not be space for it, and we intend to have enough canvas tents as we need. Ideally if you bring your own tent, it will fit on the flat platform
2) We still need parents to help with activity planning. We are working with the camp to try to get professional staff to run an activity or two, but we will still need to keep scouts active and engaged. Please let me know if you’re willing to help with this effort. Otherwise, we might have a do-nothing campout which is exactly what it sounds like.
3) We need medical forms (part A & B) for every attendee including adults and siblings. Please feel free to print them out and drop them in the tub at my house (10110 Twingate Dr) or bring the the April 8 Pack meeting. No one will be permitted to camp without Medical Forms. https://filestore.scouting.
