Monthly Pack 2143 planning meeting

January Planning meeting is at Taco Mac 3543 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096

6:30-8 ish

Discussion topics:

1. Feb Pack meeting
   1. Knife safety/soap carving (AOLs, Webelos, and Bears can earn Whittling chip)
   2. Some AOLs will teach a non Webelos Scout how to tie a bowline
   3. Some AOLs will participate in a flag ceremony if needed
2. Blue and Gold
   1. Is everyone good with the plan for parents and siblings to pay for food (might be $7-9/person), with scouts entering a dessert getting a free adult/sibling?
   2. Will centerpieces be ready?
3. Spring Camping 
   1. No plans, no one volunteered to be in charge, no one volunteered to help with anything, 2 leaders possibly looking into things. If no volunteers by March Pack meeting, we won’t have a Pack campout
4. Big Trip

5. Parent volunteerism

   2. We’ll start canceling activities if there’s insufficient volunteers – in theory we should have canceled pinewood derby.
