AOL Crossover Ceremony

This year, the AOLs have selected a different type of Crossover ceremony, and all scouts/families are invited to attend. This event is when AOL scouts “cross” the bridge to Scouts BSA and join a Troop. We will meet at 12:30, do the crossover portion of the event where AOLs will light their arrows, receive their plaques and awards, and finish crossover, and then we will have access to the courses from 1-3 PM. For this activity, we expect Class A uniforms, but should should wear class B shirts underneath. Take Class A off when on the ropes courses.

We are asking you purchase tickets by February 10th. We need to give fairly firm numbers at that time. We cannot remove people after paying the deposit.

This is across the street from Brook Run park which has a massive playground area, so scouts are welcome to go play on the playground when they’re done on the courses.

All scouts, siblings, and adults are welcome to attend. If anyone wants to do the ropes course, they need to purchase tickets (AOLs do not need to purchase tickets). Tickets are 33% off the regular admission price, and includes gloves and 2 hours of access to the courses.

Kids ages 7+ and adults will be on the main courses and will have access to different levels based on their height. Less than 6 ft: will have access to levels 1, 2A, 2B and 3. Greater than 6 ft: will have access to levels 1, 2A, 2B, 3 and 4.
Kids ages 4-6 will be on the Chickpea courses, which have two levels specially designed for kids in this age group. These courses consist of obstacles only and Chickpeas have 1 and a half hours to climb the courses as many times as they’d like.
Kids under 4 are not allowed on the courses per Treetop rules.
