DESCRIPTION:We will meet in the driveway at Waruna (Nilesha’s dad) Buwaneka’s house.\n725 Glenleigh Ln\nDuluth, GA 30097\nAnyone who has a sander or band saw, please bring it with you.\nScouts will be provided pinewood derby kits (a block of wood with wheels and axels), and make their own designs for their cars. Adults will use power tools to do major shape modifications. Scouts would make final smoothing with normal sandpaper.\nScouts will choose their designs, and decorate them. Parents should not be doing most of the work. Let the scouts race the cars they made themselves.\nHere are the awards we will provide at Pinewood Derby Day\nRank top 3 (top 3 fastest cars in each rank)\nPack top 3 (top 3 from each rank race in the finals for a chance to have the fastest cars in the Pack)\nWe also have the following superlative awards\nBest Paint Job\nMost Patriotic\nMost Scoutlike\nMost Creative\n110% award\nMost Comical\nBest Craftmanship\nMost Unusual\nFastest Looking\nCubmasters Choice\n
