DESCRIPTION:This years Big Trip will be to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL.\nFriday, March 7th PM – Arrival to Huntsville and optional movie night at the Hilton Garden Inn. You do NOT have to be staying at this hotel in order to attend the movie.\nSaturday, March 8th, 10am – 4pm Central Time – U.S. Space & Rocket Center “Ultimate Field Trip” including an interactive lab experience, planetarium, moon shot ride, and more. You can find more details here: https://www.rocketcenter.com/MuseumGroup/Visits\nSaturday, March 8th, TimeTBD – possibly an informal gathering at Main Event for those who wish to participate\nSunday, March 9th, 10am Central Time – 90 min tour of Cathedral Caverns followed by gem mining. It would be feasible to only join for the day at the Space Center on Saturday if you wish to do so. You would need to ensure arrival prior to 10 am CST time for the start of the tour.\nHOTELS\nWe have room blocks at two hotels and I encourage everyone who is even considering going on the trip to reserve a room now. There is NO payment required to book and you can cancel without penalty up to 24 hours prior to the stay.
