If weather permits, we will walk around outside to talk about what to look for when determining a good spot to setup a tent.\nhttps://www.boyscouttrail.com/cub-scouts/bear-necessities-adventure.php\n\nWhile working on your Bear badge, attend one of the following:\n\nA daytime or overnight campout with your pack or family\nAn outdoor activity with your den or pack\nDay camp\nResident camp\n\n\nMake a list of items you should take along on the activity selected in Requirement 1.\nMake a list of equipment that the group should bring along in addition to each Scout’s personal gear for the activity selected in Requirement 1.\nHelp set up a tent. Determine a good spot for the tent, and explain to your den leader why you picked it.\nDemonstrate how to tie two half hitches and explain what the hitch is used for.\n\n\n\n
