SUMMARY:(Optional) AOL Troop 629 Visit/invitation
DESCRIPTION:Troop 629 holds two troop meetings where we have special programs for both Arrow of Light scouts and their parents. If you’d like to attend one of these sessions, the dates are:\n\n\nMonday, December 4, 2023\nMonday, February 5, 2024\n\n\nAt these special open house meetings – described in the attached flyer – they will:\n\n\n         Have the AoL scouts join a Troop 629 Boy Scout patrol and get to be “Boy Scouts for the evening” by participating in our regular meeting that will also include some special fun activities for our AoL scout visitors.\n         Simultaneously hold a meeting for parents where we provide an overview of Boy Scouts covering the similarities and differences from Cub Scouts, how troops operate, activities, costs of scouting, etc.\n\n\nMeetings are held is the basement of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church (2850 Old Alabama Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022) from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. While not required, it is helpful if you would email Greg (email below) if you have scouts planning on attending our Troop meeting on one of the above dates.\n\nPlease have your scouts dress for the weather, as they will be doing some outdoor campfire and other activities.  Also, you can check out our web site at http://www.troop629.org/ or our Facebook page to see more of our troop in action.\n\nGreg Hundt\nAssistant Scout Master – Troop 629\nMobile 678-471-7531\nEmail: gkhundt@mindspring.com\n
